Folded steel, hand-forged differentially hardened KATANA ''Kusanaji''. These are the technical specifications:
- Sugata (Blade style):
Hand-forged curved blade with narrow Hi (groove) on both sides which ends by the middle of the blade and a wider Hi that ends 31 cm from the Habaki. The blade is sharp on both sides from this point onwards. The blade spine is iori-mune, the edge is without Niku (cutting sharp blade).

- Folded Steel (C45, C105W- USA: Steel 1095). The hardness of its Mune is ca 43° and the Ha (blade edge) is ca 60° HRC Rockwell 13 times folded to achieve ca. 8192 layers. Traditional clay-wrapping technique for differential hardening. There are beautiful hada (grain in steel, pattern of folding the steel) in the blade.

- Kashira (Cap):
- Beautifully carved and with a special design. Carbon steel (C45). Browned.
- Tsuka (Grip):
- Wood grip, adapted to the tongue. Length ca. 26,5 cm.

- 2 Menuki:
- Brass, hand-polished, gold-plated. Dragonfly shape. One on each side, traditional mounting of Menuki.

- Bamboo wood, based upon the traditional method to seat the pins. The 2 mekugi-ana are drilled diagonal and conical into the tongue. The mekugi are fitted from opposite side.
- Tsuba (Guard):
- Hand-polished browned carbon steel with special design.
- Saya (Scabbard):
- Selected wood. Black lacquered. Curved according to the Sori. The Koi-guchi (mouth piece) is made of buffalo horn. Saya with kurikata and 2 shitodome to hold the Obi.
- Sageo:
- Black (cord used for tying the Saya to the Obi - knob on the Saya).
- Weight:
- ca. 1 030 gr. (36.33 oz) without saya.
- ca. 1 370 gr. (48.32 oz) with saya.
